Transfer Update: Six Chelsea stars heading to Saudi Arabia revealed

Chelsea have made six players available to be sold to clubs in the Saudi Pro League this summer.

According to talkSPORT, N’Golo Kante will certainly leave the west London side when his contract expires at the end of the month.

The Frenchman will join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad, where he will earn six times what he is being paid at Stamford Bridge.

The newspaper said that more players will follow, with owner Todd Boehly seeing the Saudi football revolution as a blessing in disguise as he looks to solve the club’s FFP situation.

The Blues need to balance the books this summer after two windows of big spending, and it is widely claimed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Hakim Ziyech are also in talks over moves to Saudi Arabia.

Others heading in that direction are goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, while Boehly also plans to ship Romelu Lukaku to the Pro League.

Mendy’s agent is now said to be in talks over a move to take him to Saudi Arabia, while Lukaku, as it is reported, is not ready to give up playing in Europe just yet.
